    Have you seen the Acorn brand sandal socks? They're fun and colorful, and they're made of high-tech materials that wick moisture away from your feet. I've actually waded flooded washes in them, and had my feet feel dry within half an hour.

    I wear either hiking boots or sandals with my kilt on a regular basis. I haven't tried tennis shoes but then I don't really like tennis shoes very much.

    In the heat a lightweight kilt and whatever is comfortable on your feet are fine.
