Hi Morris!
Thanx for this picture, so it is as i imagined, they wear undergarment. I think it's only a silly habit of the european continent, but that's only a suspicion. But in Austria it is a fact and so we can see, that this people never have proofed, if it is the right way.
Mr. Rettl is so eager to have scottish competitors, because he wants to calm down the Scots. His pseudo archeological story has exasperated much experts. Another reason is, it always looks good, if you have scottish competitors.
If they don't defer, I hope the scottish competitors will teach Mr. Rettl and his companions the right way to wear the highland dress. Some years ago they had some scottish competitors at the alpine highland games, but they did agree, don't to wear undergarment. This wasn't the best way, because now Rettl and Co. think, this is the authentication.
Ok, we will see and it would be funny, if the scottish competitors defer or cancel their participation.
