Well, I just completed a New Year's toast at TNT Fitness and Body, with a dram of Lagavulin.

An excellent way to salute the year, and ring in the next.

    Happy New Year, brethren!

Not this year, I'm afraid - I still have another three hours on this shift, and right back tomorrow morning.

As a matter of fact, I will be kilted when the festivities begin. Being in Hawaii, I get to be one of the last on the forum to celebrate the ringing in of the New Year.

Quite frankly, if I went to the bar where I'm going, and I didn't wear my kilt, no one would recognize me!

Did not manage to get dressed up, rasaframentalessenran, the boss decided we need to go get dinner and a movie instead of the church get together, so I bagged the new PC in favor of pair of jeans and a cowboy shirt and off to see Marley and Me.

Cried my eyes out. The film is set right at the same time my wife and I went through the new dog, new house, new baby, new job deal (early '90's), brought back a lot of memories. Very good movie. As John (the author) says where else will you receive absolute unconditional Love, every day, just because you are.... there.... God Bless our dogs.
