You spent two decades in highschool in algebra?

I've always had some sort of facial hair, usually a beard of some sort. I have only been clean shaven 3, maybe 4 times since I was 18. Once for boot camp, once, maybe twice, to see how it looked (started growing it back the next day), and once after a tragic grooming accident that ended a rather fine handlebar mustache. I was letting the 'stache grow out again, but seeing I have to look for work I'll probably trim it so I can look 'respectable'. Not something I pull off very easily.

In the military i was clean shaven except for those "natural" times in the field.

Other than that I have had some type of facial hair, either a trimmed full beard or a circle beard for most of the time. I took it off a few years ago when my oldest was quite young...he wouldn't come near me for a day and a half. My wife told me a week in to grow it back. She thought I looked silly without it.

Still haven't shaven sense Christmas eve. I probably will though this week because I'm weak and conform.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

    What's a "circle beard"?

I grew up with two of my uncles having goatees and mustaches, but none of the other men in my family had facial hair.
On top of that both of my sisters were very vocal about their dislike of facial hair.

I wanted to grow a beard since I was about 13. But at 24 I've only just grown my first decent beard. (Until now I just looked like I had cotton candy stuck to my face.)
Having a beard is an important thing to me and, to be honest, I think I look much better with a beard.

Plus, my wife loves a man with a beard!

The kilt came before the beard, but the desire to have a beard came before regular kilt-wearing.

I think that wearing a kilt takes a little bit of confidence. In a lot of places these days, wearing a beard takes confidence, too.

Now I'm starting to wonder what it would look like if you have a long full beard and your sporran has the same kind of beard. Like a bearded horse hair goat sporran... Just a thought.

Now there's an interesting thought. I know where to get horse hair, but goat hair and grey and brown and white mixed?

Goat hair on the face of the sporran, and horsey hair on the sides and tassels. Give your sporran side burns, and a handlebar mustache. Why not. I've seen goat hair that was long enough to make a sporran beard, and put some eyes on the flap, te he. What do I know.
