Interesting encounter but I survived.
Yesterday on my way back from the shop I was passing the door of the pub when about 8 women came out all in high spirits. They had obviously been celebrating something .. The time by the way was 4.30pm. Their ages I guess 20 to 50.. As I continued to walk on there were whistles and all the other remarks you would expect from a group of women in the state they were suddenly confronted by a man in a Cilt. So I decided to turn around and go and say hello and thank them for the whistles. Much to my surprise they all said hello and stopped the ‘silly nonsense’ and a few of them were fascinated as to why I was wearing a Cilt. They were a real friendly bunch. Anyhow none of us hung around as it was, and has been, raining heavily and very windy here in Wales. In contrast to Grahams recent picture this is what its like here at present .. wet wet wet! If we win the lottery this week Graham, can we come and stay with you for a while.

The tartan is 'Morgan of Wales' and the waterproof jacket is a 'Peter Storm'.

Very good, Derek! Just had a look at Peter Storm's web site -- founded by an ex-Royal Marine, no less -- someone with a very vested interest in waterproof clothing!

Derek,
You charmer you, having all those women whistling at you, and then talking to them and having a good conversation, well done!

It's not my size. So if you buy it, you can have him ship it to me and I'll repackage it, send it to you in Canada via post & mark the customs forms gift.
