Now, that link doesn't seem to work for everyone. If it doesn't work for you then PM me your email and I'll try sending you an invite from the site.

Of course I'm spoiled and thind we all should have an X Marks kilt...I love mine!

    How is the vest coming

    Riverkilt,
Didn't you say that you were also having a vest made in the xmarks tartan? Have you received that yet?

    Hi Ron

Great looking kilt. Then again all your kilts look great. I know you posted about the RAF jacket but where again did you get the jacket and $. Did you have trouble with the fit or was it fine when you ordered it?

Aye posingk, did order an X Marks Vest, haven't received it yet...Kathy says she'll get to it eventually....dealing with a craftsman, its her decision when to sew it up...I just pay for it and wait...will do pics when it comes along...

mbhandy, the jacket is an RAF battlejacket replica from What Price Glory. I love it. Can't recall where I got the insignia, but did it up as a replica of my father's RAF jacket when he flew with them in War 2. Also did a B-13 replica (on sale) of his Air Corps jacket and an enlisted Ike Jacket with my Uncle's insignia on it...all from WPG. Thinking about, but haven't ordered the British Army battlejacket replica. The short waist of the jackets goes very well with kilts.

Wow! That’s a nice Kilt. Except for the close-up, from the back, you can’t even tell it’s pleated.

    Hey Mudd,

That's why I'm so sold on Kathy Lare! Plus, she's close to home for me and get to see her at some of the Highland Games so she can update my measurements.

Check her education, experience, and credentials on her website and you'll see how someone comes to be able to sew kilts with such precision.

Nice to be able to share the good with the board.
