Kilts for all reasons
California thinks Spring begins in February. Commuting to work on a bicycle this week was kinda chilly in the mornings (high 30's-low 40's), but the lunchtime rides were spectacular (low 60's).

The album below was taken today at lunchtime in a nearby park.

The army camo kilt was one of my earliest attempts at a machine-sewn cotton/poly; note the contrasting thread on the outside. Also, only the inside of the pleats below the fell is sewn; this allows the pleats to be lined up neatly during the light ironing after washing. The camo lining is my attempt at subtle humor, along the lines of the statement, "Be different - wear the most outrageous underwear under your suit!" This kilt is my most-used one and accompanies me on all my bike rides.
