    Cause the chicks dig it.

I was surfing some skydiving sites, and came across an old forum from..Nov 2004ish...anyway, gist of it is...the chicks at the jump center really dig the kilt. http://www.dropzone.com/forum/Commun...on..._P1334825
I only have 17 jumps, and I have worn my kilt to the jump center several times, and never received the kind of recognition these girls are giving us kilted types. Maybe I need to find another jump center?

Good find on some funny posts! Kilt or no kilt, when my group shows up the young girls at the DZ are thinking "They still let those old coots jump?" Can't really imagine wearing a kilt with all the gymnastics involved in packing and clambering into and out of a jump suit and harness during the day - stick with the shorts and t-shirt. Maybe in the evening after they break out the beer.

The few times I showed up in my kilt, I admitt....I did have shorts on underneath so that I could transition to my rig with out a hassle...you caught me. But what is this about beer? Beer at a jump center? Never herd of it being done before....

If any of you ever see me jump out of a perfectly good plane in flight, you can bet that there was A LOT of beer involved,.....or scotch.

There you have it. The lasses knew you had on shorts and thus their interest vanished.

Some drop zones have beer - after sundown when the props stop spinning. Staying on topic, it occurs to me that a kilt should be the perfect apparel for the evening activity of leaping over the pyre of burning couches - a tradition at the end of some skydiving meets.
