Irish Mud Dancing?
I mentioned on one of the Gatlinburg Games threads that we saw a group of people engaging in the ancient rite of Irish Mud dancing. Now, I was only able to snap this one picture, they were very leery of being photographed, but you can clearly see that this is some pagan form of worship practiced when a good Celtic rock band begins playing! And the girl/woman in the center wearing the lomg, black skirt, is definitely regimental, as we found out soon after this pic was taken.

Oh, and if you are going to do Irish Mud Dancing, and you have tatoos you keep covered, don't wear light weight clothing and then go dancing in the rain!

'fraid your pictures didn't show up, KCW.
And of course, they show up right after I post this.

SB, I know, the pics are not nearly as impressive as the participants jumping around in the mud and rain in real life while listening to Albannach as the live band. Which come to think of it is probably true of Woodstock as well!

There's quite a few online. Imagine several hundred people coverd completly in mud while dancing in 3-4 inches of it. If I can find my pics I'll post one.
