Is this a cult?
So I am walking our dog Friday morning and am already dressed for work, which that day was my Ireland's National, black shirt, hose, and belt, and low rise boots. As I was on my way back home, I cross by the driveway of the condo parking lot near my home, and a car was approaching at the same time. The car stopped, and I continued on by (and I was on the other side of the street, so no reason for the car not to continue). I kept waiting to hear the car come up behind and pass me, as I needed to get back across the street. I realize that is has been longer than expected for the car to pull out, then I hear it coming slowly up behind me. As it gets next to me, I see that the driver's window is rolled down, and an older lady is driving. She stops next to me and says "I like your outfit.". I thank her and then she asks, with a slight stammer in her voice "Are you a member of a cult?". Not sure I heard right, I asked her to repeat herself, and she then says "errr, are you a member of a club?". I smile and say no, and then good morning and she drives away.
Very unusual question. Does anybody else feel like this is a cult??

Of course we're not a cult. We just a bunch of people who share a new form of enlightenment. We share a common form of garb. We encourage others to join us. We look to long time members for guidance. We .....
Well, maybe I spoke too soon! I guess we need to pass out the bagpipes and drums (we would never use tambourines).

Damn right.
I'm proud to have any group I'm involved with referred to as a "rabble", it means we're still getting the required level of scruffiness.

I'll have you know I am never "scruffy"; however, I am at times "stylishly unkempt."

So you're talkin' 'bout a double-shot are you?
Whiskey, is the spelling for the Irish version of the water of life; Scotch is the abbreviated term for Scotch whisky (no 'e').
A few double-shots like that & you would "pass out"!!!
Perhaps a right-of-"pass"-age for our kult?
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!
