My first kilt.

Well my first kilt has arrived. In my previous post I gave more details but the upshot is I am the best man at a kilted wedding. We decided to go with Royal Stewart because the brides maids are in red. I purchased three Kilts, hose, two belts and sporrans from kiltmart. So here it it:



The jacket and Shirt on not the ones we will be using for the wedding.

Questions:

1) is the belt supposed to go through the belt loops, I ask because it does not seem like it would fit.

2) the sporran seems a little short right?

3) am I supposed to fold the hose back, if so how far?

4) How far is the kilt supposed to drop? My wife likes the current length but I thought it was supposed to be shorter.
