I wore my good kilt on the plane from BWI-EWR-GLA and EDI-EWR-BWI.
I'll post the airport changing another time. Leaving EWR for GLA was asked whats in sporran (SWK nightstalker) but pulling out that duck scared security and was waved thru. EDI security were polite and wonderful. EWR on return was aked if I had to have metal buckles on the kilt. Found out how close one can be searched. I asked where my dinner and drink was and he gave up on further searching.

Scottish immigration control-they smelt tourist dollars and breezed thru.
USA customs couldn't cared less. Damn that sealskin sporran looked good, oh well.

My only wish is one security check and stop selling things that can not go on the ac after that search.

So yes, wear a kilt and be comfortable.
