Ok, so I am stoked... I got my second belted plaid today from the Tartan Museum. Fed/Ex delayed the shipping for no real reason I can think of, and I was about to get bummed because I thought they were going to take a long weekend due to the upcoming holiday. Well, my package was delivered before I even left for work this morning, which is rather nice. It's the Muir modern tartan, and it looks great.
The downside? I am waiting on a Neokilt, a USA Kilt, and probably very soon a Box pleat from Matt (I plan to put my 50% down today, if all goes as planned). Yes, the addiction has taken hold, and well, that's about all I need to say...
however, I need to remember the second commandment of kilt buying:
Thou shalt accessorize well.
Not that I haven't, I should just accessorize MORE. When my other gear arrives, I'll have a smart looking set of accessories... all brown leather, matching black hose and shirt.
I need some off white, and perhaps some black accessories as well though.
What was that 12 step program again? Well, it isn't like I need help to perpetuate this. Ha ha ha.
