    Kelly Dress Tartan

I'm thinking about my next kilt and tartan and I'm considering this as it seems to be the only true Kelly tartan I can find. It's a Dress Kelly.

Just wondering if it would look right with a Lovat Blue jacket and hose or would that be blue overkill? I would probably buy a lighter weight kilt and want it more for daywear. I'm just not a high fashion person and get lost about what would look "right" with it, colorwise.

My suggestion for an outfit for that would be a light grey argyll, white shirt, tie to match the blue in the tartan, and light grey hose with tartan flashes. I would also recommend that your leathers be black. If you're thinking of a bonnet with it, I'd suggest it be in a blue similar to the blue in the tartan or black to match your leathers.
