    Need help finding a tartan

I've got tartan kilts with blue, green & brown as the predominant colors. So, now I'd like to get a tartan that's mostly black & grey with just a touch of red because black is a neutral color & so versatile. The only one I've found like that is the Pride of Scotland Silver tartan. (Click on the URL below & type in "pride of scotland silver" in the "Tartan name" box, or search for ITI# 6476.)

It's not bad, but I wish it leaned more to the black than grey shades.

So, does any know of any other black & grey with red stripe tartans?

Hmmm, would a red stripe tartan be Jamaican?

Check the Thomson Grey at the bottom of the page at USAK:

Something you were considering? The Grey Granite is also nice looking but doesn't have any red in it.

The Moffat tartan fits the bill. You can see two kilts in this tartan, one a four yard box pleated kilt that I made, the other a standard 8 yard knife pleated kilt, pictured about mid-way down this page:

One of the guys who participated in the Kirk'in yesterday was wearing a Moffat Tartan Kilt. It is one of the few predominantly grey and black tartans I have seen and is very unique. It was a good looking kilt.

    Thanks, Matt!

I think that Moffat tartan would fit the bill for what I'm looking for.
