Salt Lake Scots played last night

Was hoping to meet other member there but sadly did not. I did how ever get a few more people interested in look in to this forum. One gent was very nice and liked Turpin's sporran. I got the Sporran on thursday and have wore it every day since. Turpin you will be glad to know that a lot of people like your Sporran and I have been given many compliments.
I wore my (new to me) Buchannan Tartan I got from the Sierra Highlanders Pipe Band in Carson City. This is the first hand sewn kilt I have Made by Geoffery (Tailor) Highland Crafts, Royal Mile, Scotland and am I impressed. I have a heavy weight SWK Black Watch and it is great but the Buchannan is one impressive piece of Labor.
Back on subject. There were a few people there kilted and some of them had on Mac Table Kilts but for the most part most were dressed casually and looked great.

Sadlly I did not bring my camera.

PS I will get pics of Turpins Sporran and review most likely latter today.

Sounds like an enjoyable evening Bill. I'd really like to see your tank in person - the one I got is a 13-oz, and I like it a lot, but I'd like to see what I passed up by going with the older version. Pics, man!

It was last night? My wife and I found info that it was on Saturday, we were running late, and thought we missed it.

The Salt Lake Scots are a pipe band. A very good one at that! I enjoyed hearing them play several times while I was living out there.
