Hose Colour: Opinions please
The occasion is a baptism, I am to be the Godfather. Going kilted in Scott Green Ancient, with a charcoal Crail jacket and my Craigie Silver Fox sporran (actual one pictured on website!!). I'll most likely be wearing an ancient green (solid) tie and no vest. Shirt will probably be determined by the hose colour.
I'm thinking about charcoal colored hose and whether they'll work with the ancient green kilt? Specifically I wonder if charcoal hose along with the charcoal jacket will contrast with the the ancient colouring in an unflattering way. On the other hand it could turn out looking very sharp. I thought the matching flashes would pop out of the charcoal well and perhaps help balance things well. But I just don't know. Opinions? (I don't have a pair of charcoal hose so it's not as easy as standing in front the mirror.)
Appreciate your help mates.
