    Thumbs up Portland Games

Today my son David and I manned a Info tent for the Clan Lamont. A wonderful time was had by all.
The best part of all is my son had on a "kilt all day long" he has never shown any interest so when I asked him if I had a kilt he could wear I told him I had a UK that always was I little tight so he tryed it on and it fit quite well.
He liked it so I gave it and a cheepy sporan to him.
On the way to take him home he said he was going to wear it to work in the morning. He is a chef at "The Bread and Ink" in Portland.
He went to Neo-kilt and the Sports Kilt booth to price new kilts, so I guess I have a "kilted Lamb" on my side.

It took a couple of weddings and Games visits for my son to take to kilts. At least one day a week he wears one. Looks like I am going to have to spring for a couple of his very own as he has lost a bunch of weight and most of mine are too big...he has absconded with my Freedom camo and is presently wearing it in Scotland.

It is great when kids take after their dad's.

    You are so right!
I called him this afternoon on another matter and said he was at work kilted and enjoying ever minute of it. We did not get to talk to long as he was busy.
I told him if he really wanted to go into kilted on a full time basis he could come over again some time and try on my other four UKs and if they fit to his satisfaction they are his.
I had also gave him a sporon I didn't use so he has something to start with.
