St. David's Pleated to Center White Stripe
After finishing the Xmarks kilt I had the urge to make another with a twist. The twist was poly viscose, pseudo-trad, asymmetrical. I received about 5.5 yards and was going to join and hem it. That would have left 3 yards of waste. So I decided to make a 5+ yarder in an almost traditional style. I followed Barb's advice and used invisible blind hem thread because of the two primary vertical stripes.
I got the pleats sewn this evening, 19 pleats at about an inch and a double set deep. I just arranged the pleats to show my decision to go with this pleating pattern.

Here is green that should flash nicely.

I went with this pattern because I haven't ever seen it this way. The only ones I've seen are to the set and half red and green striped. What do you think?
I'll update when it is done.
