    It was like Christmas, Today!

Today in the mail I received 3 packages, they hardly all fit in our mail box. Two were Christmas gifts for other people, and the other was my USA Kilt in the American Heritage tartan. I also got the flashes with garters, to go along with it. Of course I tried it on. It was a little wrinkled, but a little ironing will solve that.

It seemed thinner than my other casual kilt, but probably because I just tried it on right after wearing jeans. I think I will have lots of shirts to go with it. I was going to put it on when my wife came home, but I was busy and forgot. She saw it on the chair by the kitchen table and was excited. She commented a couple times how nice the tartan was. That is a good sign!

Then later this evening another package arrived, by UPS. I looked at the return address and had no idea where or who it was from. A while ago I was eating a cookie. I dunk them in milk and when I bit into half of the cookie there was something like a bristle in there. I quit eating it, called the company and they said they would send a pre paid postage label and to send it back along with the rest of the package and wrapping.

I did that and received a couple of coupons for other products. Today, in that box, was a nice letter thanking me for letting them know that something was wrong. It was a string from the conveyor belt and they were surprised it ended up in the cookie. But also in the box were 3 packages of party crackers and 6 different packages of cookies. I was so surprised! And my wife had already bought 3 other packages of cookies. Now I shouldn't run out for a long time.

Now if only kilts would come like that! I will post a picture the next time I wear that kilt!

    DALE.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

Are you sure it didn't have something to do with the nine packages of cookies??

Just kidding...congratulations on a very nice tartan choice, I'm looking forward to the photos.

I had a similar experiance yesterday morning.

I got my SWK Ireland National Kilt (Supposedly a "blemished" kilt but I can't tell) and my Nightstalker sporran. An especially good deal considering the kilt was only $3 more than the sporran!

Right next to that package was my brand new Safariland tactical holster I got from the manufacturer. I bought a beat to hell one at a gun show and was lucky enough to discover that it was still under warrenty! All I had to do was send it to them and I got a brand new one! They also threw in 2 adapters so I can convert it to wear on my Duty belt.

I played with all my new "toys" before going to work tonight. Tried on the kilt gear and am now wearing my new duty holster. Man, I love free/inexpensive stuff!

Congratulations on the new kilt. Hope you will post some pics.
That was good service from the cookie company. I once bit into part of a ball point pen which was embedded in a chicken pie. I sent it back to the makers. Never the courtesy of an acknowledgement nor an apology from them. So if it ever happens again I would take the offending product straight to the health authority.
