WPG sporran review
Got a late birthday present from Red_Raven Studios today. She gave me one of the brown military day sporrans from What Price Glory.
This is the sporran
This is a picture I took of the sporran...

As you can see, it's very plain-jane. It should lend itself well to dressing up, though (I wanted a plain brown sporran for day wear).
The flap is held closed by a slot in the flap that pops over a brass stud. It seems secure right now, though it may loosen up some with wear. The stud is two pieces that screw together through a hole in the sporran. This means that if it becomes too loose, it can be easily removed for replacement by some other sort of fastener.
The sporran is roughly seven inches by seven inches and about two inches front to back. For those of you who own an SWK sporran, it's roughly the same size. The leather appears to be heavier than the SWK, and higher quality. At the same time, the sides are a bit stiffer, and the front and back softer and more pliable. That makes it much easier to get your hand into it than the SWK sporran.
All in all, I am happy with it, and see it as $25.00 well spent.
