Sporran Chain Help
A quick bit of history, and then the help request. My partner and I live in separate cities at the moment (and will until summer). He is getting a Thorfinn custom sporran for Christmas. The kilts and all kilt supplies had been moved to the house where I'm living (and where we are both moving this summer). I remember to grab his kilt on my way to his house for the holiday. I neglected to grab the sporran chains (his or mine). (I don't need the sporran with my Utilikilt). However I wanted us to where our kilts and our Thorfinn sporrans for New Years eve (I couldn't resist buying one for myself).
There isn't time to order a chain and clips and get it before Christmas. Any ideas of where I can get chain that will look ok? I'm thinking I can get small dog clips at the hardware store. But what about chain, and making it adjustable (He'll know something is up if I ask for his waist measurement.)
Any suggestions??? Please?
If it helps, I'm in the Los Angeles California (USA) area
Thanks
Chris
