In Defense of the Kilted
So, here I am, wearing my new Utilikilt Christmas present this morning, when my sister mentions seeing someone else kilted recently at a local grocery store. Some unenlightened idiot makes a snide comment about our brethren to her, and since she knows I am kilted, she immediately turns and says, "It's a kilt, not a skirt. My brother wears one." The local intelligentia says back to her, "Is he...you know?" And she replies, "No - and if you saw him you wouldn't say anything!"
Over the years we have had our differences (what siblings don't), but to hear how she came to my defense without me even being there, well, I was touched.

Lucky you! What a great sibling. I know my blood brother, and Anderson by adoption, would come to my defense.

Say, you said you were visiting Cincinnati. Did she happen to mention which grocery?

At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

That's a good testament to masculinity, the kilt and man in kilt.
The man in kilt whether ? or not ? is a man. Whom shall be the betrayer of respect for 'that man?'
Regardless, those whom love 'that man,' a man and/or his or her man will stand to the defense beside 'that man.'
The kilt also attracts and encourages the emboldened man to be comfortable with himself.

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

That's great! I'm sure my family would stand up for kilt wearers too. I actually had the good fortune of having a random girl at the bar defend my kilt. Her friend had said, very nicely and dead seriously, "I really like your skirt" to which the girl replied "Are you an idiot? That's a kilt. It's Scottish."
So if anyone had a sister visiting Williamsburg last weekend, be proud. She defended a kilt wearer too
