    Celebrity Pipers

    I know of only three that pipe now or have been pipers:

    • Phil Collins;
    • Keith Caradine; and,
    • Terry Bradshaw.

    Does anyone know of any others?

    Oh, yeah, I remember he came out on stage on his TV show in kilt and played his pipes. That was a long time ago.

    Jonathan Davis of Korn does Scruff Wallace of the Drop Kick Murphys. Does, Bon Scott fall into this? becasue he was actually a drummer in a pipe band he didn't actually play the pipes, in the video he did but from what i understand he only learned for that song. I guess thats why Long way to the top is only 4 notes

    Don't see how someone who is a celebrity for playing the bagpipes would meet the criteria of celebrities who play bagpipes

    I think if you're famous and you play the pipes, then it should count. Whether you became famous by playing the pipes or not. Becoming famous or infamous (it's more than famous it's IN famous... sorry 3 amigo's flash back) period, is a hard task. There are many roads to stardom, if people know you across the country or world, then I think it should count. Since we're not actually judging the quality of piper, just that they are famous.

    I know the piper that instructed Rowdy... "thick as a plank", I believe was his appraisal!
