Leather boots
I have a pair of boots similar to these:

If I remove the fringe, would they work with a great kilt? In other words, would they be more accurate for old Scotland, since they were made for fur trapper era attire? I watched Rob Roy for the first time yesterday, and while I know there are probably historic inaccuracies in the movie, he wore boots sort of like the ones I have, and they looked good. Thanks!
