My Daywear Ensemble, The Tweed Edition!
After a fun filled day, registering for classes and a trip to the DMV to renew the tags on my car...a wee bit late since my notice to do so never came in the mail
I give you my day wear ensemble!
First up Braemar Jacket and Waistcoat with my Douglas Ancient Kilt, brown sporran, strap, no belt, Lovat Blue hose and my Lovat Green garter ties and Clynelish 14 Single Malt.

Next up is the Douglas Weathered and same accessories:

Lochcarron likes it with the weathered Douglas, as well. When they sent me a sample jacket & vest in that tweed (they are the weavers) they included a weathered Douglas kilt with it.
We pictured them together on our web site:

Grand choice, Rob!

I agree. They both look good, but I prefer the Weathered Douglas.

Rob,
I love that jacket/waist coat!
The whole outfit looks great. I probably would have gone for a darker myself but it certainly works well.
Cheers

I have a charcoal Argyll so I wanted something a bit lighter and something I could wear when I get into the classroom for observations and my student teaching in Spring of 2010, so I chose the tweed that went with both my lighter colored kilts and my cotton/linen blend trousers that I wear when I dress professionally.
