So I have seen alot of things said about making kilts smaller. One of the easiest ways seems to be to move the buckles and straps. Here is the ? if I move the buckles on a kilt what about the whole on the left side does it move or does it stay in the same place.

I need some clarifiation as it is my hope that someday soon I will need to make a big kilt smaller.
