I was told I should start a collection of kilts and trains. so...

Here's my first! I think it was Ted who told me I should do that. My family and I took a vacation to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and the Cumbres & Toltek Scenic Railroad. The railroad ran their 4th of July Freedom Train- hence the flag on the front. There will be more to come in the photos forum.

Well, it was... interesting... going around Phantom Curve in the open observation car. It gets windy there- and the winds come from all directions.

And this is us at the Sand Dunes.

Ya... It's all my fault... right along with mustard diving.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Never the two at the same time, though.

You are seeing images of my home town. I learned to walk riding that line.

Oh, come on, Nighthawk, you know you would love to be on a train, while wearing a kilt, as it speeds headlong into a tunnel filled with mustard.
