    US State Tartan Display

If anyone has any extra swatches/remanents of a US State tartan they would like to donate, I am putting together a display to use in my presentations and for my clan tent.

    Yours aye,

    Todd

I have some scraps of New Hampshire and a small scrap of Texas Bluebonnet. I think I also have some scraps of NYC (not a state tartan, though), and USA St. Andrew's Society, if you're interested. If you want any of these, PM me your mailing address, and I'll pop them into the mail for you.

    Todd,

I'll see what I have for you, as well. Do you need them to be a minimum size?

    Matt & Barb:

Many thanks for your generous offers! It tems of a minimum size, I really don't have one. I'm still weighing my options for actually displaying the swatches. I will be sure to give you both credit for the donations.

I can send you a batch of museum brochures along with whatever samples I can find, if you wouldn't mind making them available with the display. :-)

Actually, Matt, I think I still have quite a few left from the last batch you sent me. Let me check & see.

    Todd,

I have to send you samples of:
    Texas Bluebonnet modern
    Texas Bluebonnet ancient
    New Mexico
    New Hampshire
    Iowa
    Arizona
    Ohio
    California
    Indiana
    Georgia
    Pennsaylvania
    Maine
    Carolina

And though not states, I thought you might be interested in including these with the display:
    US St. Andrews/Bicentennial
    The American tartan
    The Confederate Memorial

I assume you don't need US Military tartans, city or county tartans, or US university tartans in this display, but I have some of those as well. Let me know if you want to include these.

I just ask that if you don't end up using these for an educational display, please send them back to the museum.

Hey Matt, is that a sample of the official NM tartan or the "Land of Enchantment" tartan?

Todd, I have a swatch of the NM "Land of Enchantment" tartan I can send you, if you would like it as well. It's not the official, but is often associated with the state. Kathy Lare carries it exclusively from my understanding, and I believe a lot of the NM St. Andrew's crowd wear it. Anyhow, if you want it, it's yours.

If Matt can send you all these, they overlap with what I have. So, I'll let Matt send them.

No, it's not the Land of Enchanment tartan, so that would be a good addition.
