    swk sizing

the only stillwater kilt i currently own is a thrifty the only one that comes in buchanan, but the girl likes the royal stewart and i was thinking of going with a standard this time. at current he only has a 32 and i know im somewhere in the 32-34 range, is his 32 at the tightest or the loosest? could i think skinny thoughts and strap it on ... or should i wait for the 34

I second this but since it sounds like you're in a very similar situation that I was in a few weeks ago (and since I'm here)... I am somewhere between a 34 and 36. I had a kilt-tailor (not maker) size me up for one of my kilts (36") and he adjusted buckes/straps to make it a 35" because the 36 was just too loose, sat too low and made me think the kilt was too long vs. not snug enough.

SWK kilts are sized per the closest hole (tightest fit) so they have about 1.5" to let out. I just got a Saffron from them and went with the 34" and it fits fine. I think the 36" would be big - but then I could've always adjusted the buckles.
