Kilts for Kids Day - 27th Nov.

I'll be wearing mine that whole weekend whilst I visit Robertson's Ferintosh Guesthouse in Dumfries
Make sure you wear yours on St. Andrew's day - and why not raise some money for a Scottish children's charity in the process?

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Yes, it seems to be getting lift off this year, Paul with quite a bit of publicity, last year was very low key.
Already I am being asked if I am wearing the kilt to work that day, probably will if the workforce want to sponsor me, but the females are a dangerous lot here along with one or two guys.

Do the North American Members of this forum want to get in on the action? I found a comporable charity here in the US, Love Our Children, USA, I've looked for one in Canada, but as I am not that familiar with Canada (being all the way down here in Florida) I could not really find a national organization, but one of our Canadian friends might be able to find something.
I know St Andrews Day is not big in the states, but we could still make an effort for a Kilts for Kids Day. I'm going to do it here in my town, I'll hit up my wife's friends and co-workers for donations to see me in a Kilt (Like they have to pay me to do it...) then donate the money to the above charity. I'm going to work up a flyer, so if anyone is interested I can give them a copy for your use, so let me know.
