    Question XMTS tartan question...

I asked this in Jaime's earlier post about the "passing of the torch" but I think it got lost in the flurry...

Which XMTS tartans are wool in the pic below? Are the darker blue ones PV? Or are the color differences just a mill thing?

And will there be another run? I came on the board relatively recently... and I want one.

I just sold three yards of it, in PV, about two weeks ago. I know that Panache's is wool, BTW.

In the photo there are Kilts from the second run of 13 oz., the fourth run of 16oz, in Merino Wool and the 12oz. P/V run.

The darker fabric is the 12 oz P/V.

I do happen to have 16 yards of 16oz and 32 yards of 12 oz P/V available.

But before you order please give me a little time. The shop is very busy and the forum is taking far more time than I expected.

I'll make an announcement soon that the fabric is available.

My xmarks tartan kilt is from the 16oz wool run, and it's lighter than the 4 yards of PV that I have. From that picture I would say the outside two kilts and the one panache is wearing are from the wool runs, and the others are from the PV run

The XMTS tartan I am wearing is 16 oz. wool as Steve noted and looks lighter / more weathered than the latest run of PV which has darker colors.

All the versions of the XMTS tartan I have seen have been very handsome.

    Cheers

My XMTS tartan is from the er ....second run of 13oz merino wool and is of the lighter variety. It's really a nice tartan.

    How long shall we wait?

I really want an xmarks kilt. But I'll try not to bother you until you can deal with it.

I have the last run, Marton Mills PV. Actually, I am a little disappointed with this run, because the blue is so dark that is covers over the grey. IMO. it is not as nice as the previous wool runs.
