Strange title, I know.

I live in a odd house of adults, kids and cats - and one of our cats has gone terribly ill. My partner is working very hard to raise the extra money to cover his surgery - which will run between $600-$1000 - but she is an independent artist who has a limited selling season (mainly from May to October) and is already living on her summer income for the winter. She also has the misfortune of some very severe health issues herself which also limits her income.

She is a fantastic jeweler and photographer. The longer version on the story is listed here: http://alyska.livejournal.com/844906.html. This link has the listings for movies, books and games that she is selling and also links to her etsy supply store that carries jewelry making supplies, bead, and other art things.

Her jewelry is both on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PointyKitty and her personal site with her photography http://pointykitty.net/. She does do some men's jewelry as well, mostly steampunk cuff-links but in case you are doing any shopping in the future... please check it out for the kitty's sake.

But if it is kilts that you are after....

Any kilts (or accessories) that are ordered through AltKilt.com or my Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/techdragon shop between now and January 18th will have 20% of their cost donated to the cat surgery fund. If you type in the code BabyA - I will also give you (as a thank you)...free shipping on your order (up to $11.00, I cannot swing free international right now).

A note saying you are from XMarks or that this is a cat surgery purchase would be nice but not needed. I am taking 20% out of all of my orders in this time frame to do what I can to help. This is my only income too and so I need to play that independent artist juggle myself.

Thanks for listening and for any support you can offer. I know that pets aren't that important to some people but this one has been in our lives for a long time and means the world to my partner.

Best to All,
Jeanie
