In my spare time, I volunteer at Historic Rock Ford Plantation in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the home of General Edward Hand, a hero of the American War for independence..
Every few years we do a American Revolutionary War emcampment, and I just learned that the next event will be June 9 & 10, 2012. Since I can yell louder than any of the other volunteers I was placed in charge of the event.
We are hoping for at least 500 reenactors portaying British American, and German troops, and will have two full-scale skirmishes, complete with period artillery.
