Jackobite pv semi-trad????
So.......how about it Rocky? Is there enough demand to do a small run of it? I'd be interested!

Run minimums are 130 M... if we can get 40+ people together for a run, we'll gladly do it.

I'm a sucker for special runs - might generate some interest if you posted a pic of the tartan.....

I agree! I was just about to post a pic and remembered it's ROCKY'S thread (I'm quite impulsive and impatient sometimes). Anyway, good idea; I'm sure he'll get to it.

Go ahead and post it... it's YOUR thread since you're the one at the top.

Okay, the wife took our laptop to class and I have no idea how to utilize this kindle fire. Anyone else care to put up a pic of the Jackobite tartan? Okay, so that makes 3 of us......just need 37 more, sigh......

Re: Jackobite pv semi-trad????
Okay, hooked enough to look for the Jacobite tartan and found about seven different versions of it....green and yellow, orange and red and green, red, whats the tartan number for the jacobite tartan we're talking about here so I can find it and look at it.
Thanks.
Or post a picie...

Re: Jackobite pv semi-trad????
I've noticed that too. I like the yellow/red/green/blue/white
The variant that I've always liked the best came from House of Edgar. I know we are talking about PV here, but their 13oz wool swatch looks good to
me. They have it listed as MWS2154 on their site, and Rocky has it on the USA Kilts page too.
The Lochcarron version seems to be just a little bit lighter in color (at least viewing on-line), but looks to be spot on with HOE.

To be completely honest, I have no idea where Rocky has his PV material made, and know nothing about what options he has when ordering, so I'll be grateful for any info from you guys and Rocky to school me here.
Those are just two (of the better known) variants that I like, but I'm open to other versions of the tartan as well. I know it kinda looks like a bag of Skittles bloew up in a tartan factory, so if there was a more subdued version, I'd be cool with that as well.
