I was flipping through the channels last night, and found a show on TLC called For Better or For Worse. The premise is that the bride and groom hand over control to a group of family and friends that are given $5000 and 1 week to plan the couples wedding.

I have seen this show before, and have always thought why no kilts. Well, last night the groom and the groomsman were all in Sportkilts and highland shirts. There were a few good comments by the groomsmen:

"it's not a skirt, it's a kilt..."
" I 've never felt as manly as I do right now.."

As well as the typical ignorant questions from the female host.

It was nice to see that kilts got some attention.

My only complaint is not with the show, but rather with the kilts. Why do some companies insist on putting big bright logos on their kilts. I think this makes the kilts look cheap, and I would never order a kilt from one of these companies for that reason. This is just my opinion, but I don't like being forced to advertise for someone else. If you have a quality product and stand by your work, I will spread the word for your company as often as I can (ask Bear). Even if you remove the logo you will probably still have some indication that it was there.
