What brand of kilt do you work in?
Hey, guys and gals. I have a question for you everyday kilt wearers. I work with wood, building furniture and art pieces, and I'd like to hear which brands of kilts y'all all prefer to work in. I have a couple SWK Standards and a Utilikilt that I usually work in, but the SWK's are a bit warm and tend to snag fairly easily. I would like to buy a few more low-end kilts to work in that I won't mind getting glue and paint and stuff on, but that won't heat up the bathing suit area too much (I live in Texas). I have to say that I am not partial to UK's, although I understand that the Workman is great for my line of work. I just don't think they look much like a kilt, tbh. I've often looked at Sportkilts, and I recently saw that a window washing company in Canada wear SK's, but the ones that I have seen online and in person look pretty awful. Mostly, I guess I am comparing the SWK Thrifty and the Original SK right now. There is a bit of price difference, but I've heard some athletes say that SK's are great warm weather kilts.
Any thoughts/advice/new ideas would be very much appreciated.
Sláinte,
Kris
