Howdy Gents,

Y'all have been a bad influence on me.

I don't own a kilt at this time, but I have talked my wife in to making one for me. Now to find suitable fabric. I'd hate to spend a couple of hundred bucks on wool tartan and have it wasted on a failed attempt.

I'm itching to get my first kilt!

I'll have a ton of dumbassed questions to ask, so I ask your indulgence of my ignorance.

I've been lurking here for the last few days and I must say I am quite impressed by the caliber of folks who post here.

Allow me to introduce myself.

I'm in my late 40's so that makes me fairly young, just wish I could convince my knees, and though a Native of South Alabama, I have lived in the Mississippi Delta for the last 14 years. I've been married for 14 years and we have no children, other than Mattie, and Pepper, our Great Pyrnees and Mini Schnauzer. I've done a little writing, mostly for the old Wyatt Earp Firearms Emporium and Mercantile, or at Sixgunner.Com.

I am now employed as a Directory Assistance Operator by a major telephone company. As a hobby, I do leathercrafting and make pepper sauce (it is a sweet mild sauce that is not hot at all) and sell used books on the side.

Regards,
