Box Pleated USA Kilt?!?
Hey Guys,
Due to several customers asking about box pleated kilts, I am running a test. I made one for myself and didn't find it too much of a change from our 5 yarders, though ironing the pleating took a LOT longer. The result was a nice, well shaped kilt, which is much lighter than a traditional 8 yarder.
Here's the deal: We have exactly 2 yards of cloth in the Scott Red Modern tartan (16 oz cloth from MM) in stock. I want Mac to make one (I made the first one) and get his take on it to see if we'll be producing them as a regular offering going forward. If someone wants a box pleated kilt in this tartan AND IS UNDER 44" in the waist or hips, we're offering a ONE TIME deal of $250 for this kilt (including shipping and rush charges). If / When we do offer this style as a stock offering going forward, the price will likely be about $380 - $395.
The tartan in question:

This is a first come, first served deal (and we only have enough for 1). Order MUST be called into shop to count: 610.948.4110
