2014 Chesapeake Celtic Festival, Snow Hill, Maryland
The Chesapeake Celtic Festival is a relatively small event and, unfortunately seems to be getting smaller. But, it's still a nice place to spend the day and it's in a truly beautiful setting. Though there's no sanctioned competitions, there is plenty of entertainment, whiskey & wine tasting, pipes and drums, Highland Athletic demonstrations, re-enactment camps, celtic dancing, border collies, venders, etc. By the way, this is a dog friendly event and, of course, our dog Phoebe had a great time. Anyway, here are a few photos.

And... one more of Susan, Phoebe and me;

Thank you,
Nile
Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle.
