What Price Glory is a UAE company and deals in both British and American military surplus. They are very specific on their web site when something is real or a reproduction. And from the purchases I have made from them, their reproductions have been indistinguishable from originals other than they are "brand new." Great company to deal with too.
I was chexking out WhatPriceGlory.com a moment ago. How is the quality of their items? Are they historically accurate reproductions? I am aware that they do sell a lot of surplus but the sporrans, for example, seem to be a too-good-to-be-true price. The kikts look good and are about what I would expect to pay for an MOD surplus or reproduction kilt.
Sorry if I derailed the thread. XMTS has turned me on to a lot of vendors. Thank you, gents.
Everything I've bought where I had an original was a pretty right on reproduction and where I didn't, it's been a quality product. I can't vouch for all their stuff, and I have not purchased or seen one of their hair sporrans so I can't comment on them specifically. I have recently purchased one of their brown day sporrans with strap and when it gets here I'll post my thoughts. In the future I plan on getting an MOD kilt through them in the future.
I purchased a reproduction TOS from them a couple of years ago. Looks spot on when compared to pictures from WWII, good quality for the price, and shipping was prompt.
