    I agree! There was an outfit on Ebay a while back (can't find it now) that came with a Saltire kilt, had the Saltire flag embroidered on the hose and on the flashes, had the Saltire flag on the fur on the sporran, had a Saltire on the belt buckle, on the sgian, on the kilt pin, on the cufflinks... there might have been more, but that's all I can remember. Anyhow it was overkill piled on top of overkill!

    On the other hand, I have a love of the old Scottish military uniforms and I have read that the Full Dress uniform of the Pipe Major of the Black Watch has 36 depictions of St Andrews holding his Cross. Would be interesting to try to name them all. (No, not the cap badge, nor the belt buckle...) The Drum Major's uniform is said to have a like number.
