Good afternoon,
Ern, I'm sorry about your tinnitus, but it"s good to see that you will be attired appropriately - and comfortably - for a day at home. I hope it's not too long before you can raise a pint at the Tavern.
I will be strapping on my Cameron of Erracht (weathered) this evening for my weekly SCD class in Newcastle NSW. (SCD = Scottish Country Dancing). In fact, that is my kilt of choice for all my dance classes this week. The Cancer Society in Australia does an annual fundraiser called Jeans for Genes, and I stick on a selection of their pins as my kilt pin. I made a pair of flashes that I ripped out of an old pair of jeans, and with blue hose and a blue shirt, I think it's a fun ensemble.
I just wish I was able to master the technology so you too could see the outfit!

XMTS teaches much about formal kilt wear, but otherwise,
... the kilt is clothes, what you wear with it should be what you find best suits you and your lifestyle. (Anne the Pleater) "Sometimes, it is better not to know the facts" (Father Bill)
