Hardly any problems...the usual...nice remarks, smiles and sometimes:
"Oh!...he's wearing a skirt!"...nothing special.
Last friday...a drunken "suit" pushed me to the limits (I'm really a non violent person)...
"Hey! Scottish boy! , hey! faggit!"
He asked for it...and he got it...
I'm not proud of it, I hate violence...it just happened.
The bartenders came in between when I was sitting on top of the guy demanding a full apology.
He was dragged out... (I'm a regular )
I guess the kilt won
Robin, I think this could have brought many a kilt wearer to the breaking point. It makes me angry just reading it. I don't know how I would have reacted - since my physical disability would not let me engage in a fight. I might have wacked the guy with my cane. Anyhow, I haven't faced this type of situation yet. It's bound to happen sooner or later - I'll just have to go with my gut instinct when it does. Perhaps the bartender would have thrown this man out without the fight, if he kept taunting you, but I can surely understand your anger, especially when you are there for a pleasant evening with your wife.
