F -32 x 5/9 = C
F = -30 x 9/5 + 32 = -22F = COLD!!
C x 1.8 + 32 = F is so much easier. Easier still is double the Celcius and add 30 to get Farenheit - it's close enough at usually only a degree or two off.
It's never too cold to kilt, of course, long johns underneath may be a good idea in your neck of the woods!
