I'm lucky to be a die-hard Penguins fan...I can just wear one of my solid black kilts with either the home or away jersey...Good luck to you folks with teams that have more complicated color schemes!

That is one of the reasons I miss the old black and red of the sabres. It did inspire me to make my own Sabres kilt though, blue and gold witout the slug.

    Cool uniform website!
I've considered getting kilts for a number of teams I like:

My hometown South Carolina Gamecocks -Hard to find a tartan that has a matching garnet to the Cocks.

Montreal Canadiens- Theres a few that could work- just none that I'm crazy about.

Carolina Hurricanes- Rob Roy tartan should work fine

LA Lakers- I have no idea!

If you are interested in uniforms:
    http://www.ssur.org/

It has very good links to various uniform history based sites.
One of my favorite, based on one of my best baseball reference books:
    http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/ex...s/database.htm

    Thanks for the help/opinions.
I printed out a copy of the uniform from shop.nhl.com and a copy of the tartan taken from the Freedom Kilts website (showing Steve's custom embriodery by using the X Marks patch over X Marks tartan). Assuming the hues are close to correct, the correspond GREAT!!!!

Now, should one tuck in the hockey jersey, or let it hang (my big "old" dark Thrashers jersey covers half the kilt)?

PS-> Warrior's black and Purple works GREAT with CLEMSON ORANGE!!!!!!
