i've just ordered my first kilt from stillwater and every time that I have e-mailed a question I have recieved a verry prompt answer no mater how "dumb" the question was they have been extreemly profesional. If 24" is too long then they do tell you on thier site how to hem, if it's too short then just wear it lower (I assume as I have yet to recieve mine... please feel free to corect me if i'm wrong )

My wife, The Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess, actually wrote up a how-to pictorial on how to hem a Stillwater kilt.
