Nice to know that it still runs occasionally. One of my friends went on a railfans tour in the USA a couple of years back which included a trip on the Durnago and Silverton railrtoad. The only North American train which I've travelled on is the Budd RDC on the Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway - went on it a couple of trips when I was in Victoria in 1987.

Alex, if you ever make it down to Colorado, The D&SNGRR is the ride of a lifetime. Having grown up in Durango, I have been blessed with the opportunity to ride it twice. My wife is a rail buff herself, so I will most likely get to ride a third time, next time I get to visit home.
