every year for the past several years i see a tie-dyed Utilikilt at the Loch Norman Highland Games. as far as i know Utilikilts did a small run of tie-dye kilts. it is interesting. it has alot of blues purples and a little white in it. it is ok looking. not something i would wear though (however, i do love tie-dye shirts and have plenty of those).

I think this is a great idea. There are camo kilts out there why not tie-die? Post some pictures if you ever get a finished product. I don't think i'd ever wear one, but I like the idea.

I wonder if this is the same one? This photo appeared on the Utilikilts Gallery several years ago. Although I have fourteen Utilikilts, I really do not think I could wear one like this - at least, not in public!!

that's not the one i saw. it is a younger guy that wears it. and it has a narrow color palette compared to the above tie-dye. it was just purples and blues on white. in fact, i wonder if it was a homemade job with a white Workman's UK.
