As I said before I don't think that a Piper who had been playing for years would be over joyed with the ones we sell. But for a beginner that is trying to learn fingering and is just starting out..they are great pipes. I think having our pipes EVALUATED by a professional piper would be like having mario andretti test drive a Pinto and offer an opinion. We can get some very nice $800 pipes but that is not the market we want to play in

I think also that the pipes you are offering on your site, Mark, appeal to folks like me who would like to have a set around to hang on our wall as decor. I don't have the lung power to play (last time I tried to put air through a practice chanter I turned beet red and almost fell over), but I would still like to have a set of pipes just because they are something I always wanted.

Well Sir, One great thing about being a co-owner in a company is you can do pretty much whatever you want and I want to send you a set of pipes for FREE and you can have something you always wanted. if you will pay for the shipping (around $22+-), We will send you out a set with metal mounts, reeds, Synthetic bag, and a nice Tartan Cover. You can test them, hang them above your fire place, let a local piper test them, give them to your kids, and then you can tell everybody here if they are worth $100-$135.
